Cambodia encourages more French investments

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia has asked France to attract more investors from the latter and the European Union (EU) to invest in Cambodia.

The request was made by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Inspection, during his meeting with Mr. Salvatore Furnari, President of Heracle Group, in Phnom Penh on Feb. 1.

H.E. Huot Hak took stock of good cooperation between Cambodia and France in all sectors, adding that both countries have agreed to promote bilateral cooperation to a strategic partnership level.

The minister recalled the recent successful visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet to France.

He underlined Cambodia’s peace, political stability, and development favorable for foreign investments and tourists.
