PHNOM PENH: The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Czech Republic have agreed to further boost their cooperation in trade and investment as well as to have more exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries.
H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Martin Vávra, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia, made the agreement during their courtesy call meeting at the ministry early this week.
According to a news release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued this evening, both sides noted with deep satisfaction the traditional relations and good cooperation between the two countries and underlined the importance of further strengthening cooperation in mutually beneficial spheres.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister expressed his profound appreciation to the Czech government for the kind assistance and support extended to Cambodia, which has remarkably contributed to its socio-economic development, including education, health, as well as other sectors.
