PHNOM PENH: Cambodia and Brazil have discussed more cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries.
The discussion took place between H.E. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, and H.E. Roberto Serroni Perosa, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil, in Phnom Penh on Mar. 28.
H.E. Dith Tina briefed H.E. Roberto Serroni Perosa on Cambodia’s policy on food security, sustainable economics, and agriculture policy priorities.
Brazil plans to officially open its embassy in Phnom Penh by the end of 2024 and has agreed with Cambodia to advance bilateral agricultural cooperation, especially to promote trade volume between both nations.
