PHNOM PENH: Three new investment projects have been approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), totaling more than $23 million and promising job creation.
The Committee of the CDC has granted investment project registration certificates to the following companies in response to their investment requests:
LE HOO (CAMBODIA) FURNITURE COMPANY LIMITED, will establish a furniture factory in Tay Seng Bavet Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng Province, with an investment capital of around $13.2 million and the potential to create 592 job positions.
XINKAIDA LIGHTING CO., LTD, which will set up a factory producing wiring, electrical equipment, and lighting fixtures of all kinds, in the same zone, investing approximately $8 million and potentially creating 1,241 job opportunities.
And the last one, GUANGBO (CAMBODIA) INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD, whose project involves setting up a stationery factory in the Cambodian Special Economic Zone, Cheang Gorji, Sihanoukville, which will cost $2 million and create roughly 150 jobs. These exciting developments were announced on the CDC’s official Facebook page.
