Cambodia and Hong Kong Sign Two Cooperation Agreements

PHNOM PENH – July 31, 2024 – Cambodia and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) today signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The agreements were witnessed by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee.

The MoUs were signed by First Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Sun Chanthol, and representatives from the HKSAR and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

The first MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between Hong Kong Investment and the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC). The second MoU focuses on collaboration between the Hong Kong Business Development Council and the HKTDC.
