PHNOM PENH: AgCoTech Australia Pty Ltd. is interested in investing in the production of cattle feed in Cambodia, an initiative to manage and reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The intention was revealed by the firm’s CEO Mr. Andrew Mason during his recent meeting in Phnom Penh with H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Cambodian Minister of Environment.
On the occasion, H.E. Eang Sophalleth supported AgCoTech Australia’s intention, stressing that the investment plan will increase domestic products, improve the local people’s living standard, as well as reduce methane emissions into the atmosphere.
Reduced methane is a major carbon credit under the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change which encourages Cambodia to do carbon business with transparency, accountability, and international standards.
