Online Registration Process
The MoC has streamlined the registration process, making it primarily online. You can now reserve a business name and complete the registration process entirely through their digital platform.

Types of Businesses and Registration Requirements

1. Sole Proprietorship

Steps:
Log in to the MoC’s online portal.
Select “Sole Proprietorships” and then “Incorporate a Sole Proprietorship.”
Provide general information, addresses, and contact details, as well as the owner’s information.
Documents:
Identity proof of the owner.
Proof of address.

2. Private Limited Company, Public Limited Company, or Foreign Company

Steps:
Log in to the MoC’s online portal.
Select “Companies” and choose the appropriate option (Private Limited Company, Public Limited Company, or Foreign Company).
Provide general information, addresses, contact details, director information, share and shareholder details.
Documents:
Identity proofs of directors and shareholders.
Proof of address.
Articles of Association.
Memorandum of Association.

3. Partnerships (General Partnership or Limited Partnership)

Steps:
Log in to the MoC’s online portal.
Select “Partnerships” and choose the appropriate option (General Partnership or Limited Partnership).
Provide general information, addresses, contact details, partner information, and manager information.
Documents:
Identity proofs of partners and managers.
Proof of address.
Partnership agreement.

Important Considerations
Time Limit: You have 15 days to complete the registration process after initiating it. Failure to do so may result in the application being removed from the system.
Fees: There are associated fees for registering a business. These fees vary depending on the type of business and other factors.
Supporting Documents: Ensure that all required documents are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
