PHNOM PENH: The National Productivity Center of Cambodia (NPCC) of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) today, on December 27, 2024, honored five outstanding companies and enterprises for their exceptional implementation of the 5S methodology at the “5S Productivity Achievement Awards 2024.”
Addressing the award ceremony, Minister Hem Vanndy emphasized, “The ‘5S’ Productivity Achievement Awards Program serves as a catalyst for a national movement dedicated to enhancing productivity.
Through this initiative, MISTI strives to empower small, medium, and large enterprises, including traditional handicraft businesses, with improved production management capabilities.
This fosters sustainable and efficient development, ultimately contributing to Cambodia’s robust economic and industrial growth.”
Now in its ninth year, the “5S Productivity Achievement Awards” celebrate organizations that have successfully integrated the 5S principles – Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain – into their operations.
