5 investment projects worth nearly $100 million approved by CDC

PHNOM PENH: On August 31, 2022, the Cambodia Development Council (CDC) approved five investment projects totaling approximately US $ 82.7 million, which could result in the creation of hundred jobs.

1-KITATSU SOLAR (CAMBODIA) CORP.

The project to build a solar panel assembly factory on National Road 51, Mitpaing Prey village, Tumnup Thom commune, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province, with an investment of approximately 23.4 million US dollars, has the potential to create 637 jobs.

2-KHEMUNIK HOSPITAL CO., LTD

is constructing a 150-bed hospital on National Road 21, Prek Samrong 3 Village, Sangkat Takhmao, Takhmao City, Kandal Province for an estimated USD 23 million, with a capacity of 458 beds.

3-SAMANEA CO., LTD

Koh Svay, Koh Mtes, and Koh Kok Development Investment Project, located in Kep Village, Sangkat Kep, Kep City, Kep Province, with an estimated investment capital of USD 18.2 million and the potential for 60 job creation.

4-LATE CHENG MINING DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD

is a Chinese mining development company. Gold mining business investment project in Sochet commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province with an estimated investment capital of 13 million US dollars and the potential to create 300 jobs.

5-HEN JIU GARMENT ACCESSORY CORPORATION

With an investment capital of approximately US $ 5.1 million, the project to establish a garment and yarn factory in Kantouk Cheung Village, Sangkat Kantouk, Khan Kampoul, Phnom Penh, can create 463 jobs.
